OIOS-3000 Ophthalmic Instruments Optical Safety Test System
Ophthalmic photobiological safety automated measurement solution
Typical application scenarios
OIOS Series Ophthalmic Instrument Optical Radiation Safety Test System complies with ISO 15004‑2, YY/T 0065, YY/T 1296, YY/T 0633, YY/T 0634, YY/T 0792, and other standards. It is suitable for optical radiation measurements of various ophthalmic instruments (e.g., slit lamps, refractometers, fundus cameras), including spectral distribution, apparent source viewing angle, irradiance, radiance, radiant power, pulse energy, and pulse waveform. The system calculates weighted and integrated hazard values, compares them with limit values to determine Class 1 or Class 2 classification, offering comprehensive measurement parameters and excellent repeatability.

Main characteristics
1.Full compliance with ophthalmic standard measurement requirements
The system measures radiation parameters of various ophthalmic instrument light sources and performs safety classification in accordance with ISO 15004‑2:2007, ISO 15004‑2:2024, YY/T 0065‑2016, YY 1296‑2016, YY/T 0633‑2022, YY/T 0634‑2022, YY 0792, and other applicable standards. Hazard assessments include weighted and unweighted UV/thermal irradiance and radiant exposure for cornea and lens; weighted iris, retinal photochemical, and visible/infrared thermal irradiance and radiant exposure; spectral distribution; and retinal source size – fully covering all hazard types and classification levels as prescribed, with safety class determined by comparison against limit values.
2. Suitable for both continuous and pulsed light for various ophthalmic device forms
A mobile dedicated test platform, fitted with various sampling units for radiation measurements and specially designed structures, accommodates a wide range of ophthalmic instruments (e.g., slit lamps, refractometers, fundus cameras) while meeting both continuous‑wave and pulsed‑light measurement requirements.
3.High‑accuracy full‑spectrum measurement from 250 nm to 2500 nm
The safety‑dedicated spectroradiometer incorporates multiple patented technologies of EVERFINE (with related papers adopted by CIE). It offers broad coverage (at least 250–2500 nm), high wavelength accuracy (up to 0.1 nm), fast response, high sensitivity, and ultra‑low stray light (down to 10⁻⁸), making it particularly suitable for high‑accuracy light and radiation measurements in research and testing laboratories.
4.Intelligent system design with high automation
The software automatically controls detector switching, measurement sequences, and data transmission, reducing operator dependence while improving accuracy and repeatability – enabling truly intelligent, automated operation.
5.Excellent performance of reference standards and matching power supply
The supplied reference standards cover 200 nm–2500 nm with excellent stability, long‑term reproducibility, and high traceability. The matched power supply and monitoring meter are custom‑tailored for these standards, delivering stability up to 0.01% and measurement accuracy up to 0.05%.
6. Proven system reliability with excellent accuracy and repeatability
All components are independently developed and manufactured by EVERFINE with full intellectual property rights. The system has been successfully deployed by numerous research and quality inspection institutions for over a decade – proven robust, stable, and accurate, with dependable after‑sales support.
